TERM OF TRADEMARK REGISTRATION

  • 16-19 months under normal conditions;
  • 12 months – in the case of accelerated examination after 6 months from the date when the application was filed;
  • 4-5 months – in the case of accelerated examination from the moment when the application was filed (before expiration of 6 months, for international application only).

The certificate for trademark is valid for 10 years. The validity period can be extended for another 10 years if the respective fees are paid within the last six months of the validity period of the certificate.
